Whitefish Montana

The town of Whitefish rests at the north end of Montana’s breathtaking Flathead Valley in the northwestern corner of the state.  Whitefish has developed into a true four season resort offering spectacular recreational opportunities, activities, attractions, culture and nightlife throughout the year.

Whitefish is the home to the world renown Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, lovely Whitefish Lake with its popular sandy beach area - (a favorite hang out amongst the locals during the summer months), and one of Montana’s only 36-hole golf courses, the beautiful Whitefish Lake Golf Course.

Whitefish began in the late 1800’s as a fur trading center and later flourished with both the logging industry and as a prominent stop along the Grate Northern Railway.  Today Whitefish enjoys it’s reputation as an outdoor adventure lovers paradise, possessing all the best qualities of a quaint alpine village while retaining much of the charm and charisma of its early days.
