Whitefish Lake

Whitefish Lake is a large, clear lake where boating, fishing and swimming are enjoyed all throughout the summer. Here you’ll find fantastic sunsets and charming views as the train that runs between the mountain and the lake lets out a haunting whistle and ducks land softly on a watery perch. Whitefish Lake is only one of about 500 lakes in the area, enough to keep any water bound person busy for a lifetime of fun.

Whitefish Lake rests at the feet of Big Mountain and the Whitefish Mountain Resort reflecting its beauty and adding to the areas magic and majesty.

Whitefish Lake is a popular spot for fishing for trout, whitefish, pike and other popular species of fish.
